In a video posted yesterday, the renowned star of Caught in Providence TV show, judge Frank Caprio said that prayer is the most powerful weapon.
The video was posted on his social media page.
Frank Caprio served as the chief judge of the municipal court of Providence, Rhode Island, and chairman of the Rhode Island Board of Governors for Higher Education. His judicial work is televised on the program Caught in Providence.

He celebrated his 87th birthday recently. He says that it was a special birthday in many ways. It was a time taught with the tension of his recent cancer diagnosis. However, on his birthday, his fans from all over the world had sent him birthday wishes. In the video, he calls pancreas cancer “an insidious form of cancer.” “I would ask each of you in your own way to please pray for me. Pray that God guides their thoughts and their hands in their treatment of me.”
His treatment has begun at Rhode Island, where Dr Cardi takes care of him, and also at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, part of the Massachusetts General Hospital, in Boston, Massachusetts. He is seen as saying “I know it’s a long road and I am fully prepared… to fight…as hard as I can.”
To the questions of his fans about what they could do for him, he humbly responds, in the typical Judge Caprio manner, that he couldn’t thank them all enough for their friendship and kind messages. He is seen pausing hesitantly for a moment and saying: “But I would ask each of you in your own way (gulps) to please pray for me.” (his voice shakes.)
After a moment of silence, he continues, “I am in need of the power of prayer, which I believe, in addition to the medical treatment that I’m receiving, is the most powerful weapon to help me survive this; just knowing that you were keeping me in your thoughts means the world to me. So thank you for all your past messages. Thank you for all your loving support. And please remember just a small prayer. I’d really appreciate it.”
Mr Anu Lal, renowned Indian English author and the founder of Writers’ Kalam Publishing shared his prayer message on his page. In the emotional video that he posted on his Instagram page, he prayed for the blessing of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ for the well-being of Judge Caprio and he addressed him “Judge Frank,” in first name, like many would do who have come across the generosity of Judge Frank Caprio’s person, even those who have watched on his show across the world.
